SAS2027 — Call for Contributions
About SAS2027
The Swiss Aesthetics Symposium 2027 (SAS2027) is a one-day professional and scientific symposium dedicated to the evolving relationship between dermatology, aesthetic practice, technology, regulation, ethics, communication, and society.
The 2027 edition will explore how dermatology and aesthetic practice can meet, interact, and develop new forms of collaboration in a rapidly changing environment. The symposium aims to create a high-quality, interdisciplinary space for reflection, dialogue, and knowledge sharing between healthcare professionals, aesthetic practitioners, researchers, educators, institutions, technology providers, and other stakeholders involved in the future of aesthetics.
SAS2027 is primarily seeking French-speaking speakers able to present to a French-speaking professional audience. Submissions may be written in French or English. Presentations will preferably be delivered in French, unless otherwise agreed with the organizing committee.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit proposals for oral presentations, case-based contributions, professional experience reports, or partner experience sessions relevant to the scope of SAS2027.
Submissions must be original in their presentation and must not constitute a purely promotional product or brand presentation, except where clearly submitted under the specific category of partner experience sessions. Contributions based on previously published or presented work may be considered, provided this is clearly disclosed in the submission.
All submissions should include:
a clear title;
the preferred submission category;
a structured abstract or proposal summary;
the name, affiliation, and short biography of the proposed speaker;
the language of submission, French or English;
the preferred language of presentation;
any relevant conflicts of interest or commercial relationships;
a short explanation of the relevance of the contribution to SAS2027.
The organizing committee reserves the right to accept, reject, reclassify, or request modifications to submitted proposals in order to preserve the editorial coherence, independence, and quality of the symposium.
Submission Categories
The following categories are welcome.
Oral Presentations
Proposals for plenary or thematic oral presentations addressing scientific, professional, regulatory, technological, ethical, educational, or societal issues relevant to dermatology and aesthetic practice.
Oral presentations should provide a clear contribution to the understanding of current or future developments in the field and should not be designed as commercial sales presentations.
Case Studies and Professional Experience Reports
Contributions describing practical experience, professional challenges, interdisciplinary collaboration, safety issues, training approaches, patient or client pathways, treatment organization, communication practices, or lessons learned from the field.
These submissions are particularly welcome when they provide concrete insights that may help participants improve professional practice, safety, quality, or collaboration.
Partner Experience Sessions
Clearly identified partner sessions may present practical use cases, applied solutions, protocols, technologies, services, or professional experiences developed with the support of a company or organization.
Partner experience sessions must be transparent regarding commercial interests. They should focus on real-world experience, practical relevance, limits, safety considerations, and lessons learned, rather than on direct sales promotion.
Roundtable Proposals
Proposals for roundtable discussions are welcome where the topic raises significant professional, scientific, ethical, regulatory, or societal questions. Submissions may include a proposed title, key questions, suggested speakers or profiles, and the intended contribution to the symposium.
List of Topics
Submissions should relate to one or more of the following topics.
1. Skin, Dermatology and Aesthetic Practice
This topic welcomes contributions on skin health, dermatology, aesthetic practice, ageing, inflammation, pigmentation, scars, acne, sun protection, skin biology, dermatological mechanisms, and practical or scientific questions related to the skin.

Presentations in English may be considered in selected cases, depending on the topic and the final program structure.
Review and Selection Process
Submissions will be reviewed by the organizing committee and, where appropriate, by members of the scientific or editorial committee.

scientific, professional, or practical value;
clarity and quality of the proposal;
