QCTIP 2023 Call for Submissions
The field of quantum computing is at an extremely exciting stage: quantum hardware performance continues to improve dramatically, and new theoretical developments are bringing practical applications of that hardware closer to reality. Yet much theoretical work remains to be done to unlock the true power of quantum computers.The third Quantum Computing Theory in Practice (QCTIP) workshop will be held at the Jesus College, University of Cambridge, UK, 17-19 April 2023. Continuing the previous series of Heilbronn quantum algorithms meetings (2010-2019) hosted in Bristol and Cambridge, QCTIP fosters discussion between theorists and practitioners of quantum computing. Call for Submissions
Submissions are invited for contributed talks. Talks will be selected on the basis of scientific excellence; fit to the topic of the workshop; and balance of the programme.Submissions should correspond to recent research contributions in quantum information and computation. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Applied quantum error correction
Current NISQ advances
Quantum low density parity codes (qLDPC) and other future fault tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) advances
Algorithmic advances for the fault-tolerant regime
Validation and verificationAll submissions for talks must be made online through the EasyChair submission system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=qctip2023A submission should consist of a full paper corresponding to the work, including technical details. This manuscript may be from an online repository, such as the arXiv, however, a PDF copy of the paper must be uploaded. If your submission consists of multiple papers, they should be merged into a single file. It is expected that the first few pages (e.g., Introduction) of the paper will make a compelling case for its inclusion in the workshop. The programme committee may consider the remainder of the paper at their discretion.We expect that speakers will attend the workshop in person, subject to the global health and travel situation being stable at that time.We encourage all workshop attendees to present a poster. Poster details can be provided during registration.
