First International Workshop on
Next-Gen Knowledge Engineering for
Industry 6.0 and Emerging Data (NKE6.0)
Call for Papers
Industry 6.0 in this era demands a new generation of intelligent, interconnected, and human-centric systems powered by advanced knowledge engineering. The Next-Gen Knowledge Engineering for Industry 6.0 and Emerging Data (NKE6.0) workshop is collocated with The 9th International Conference on Emerging Data and Industry (EDI40) April 14-16, 2026, Istanbul, Türkiye, emphasizing on the integration of artificial intelligence, semantic technologies, and domain-specific knowledge to enable smarter decision making across healthcare, software development, and business ecosystems. Generative AI for personalized health coaching and intelligent diagnostics further advance patient-centric care in Industry 6.0. In software engineering, knowledge engineering enables code generation, automated refactoring, ontology-based requirements design, and knowledge-based DevOps automation. AI-augmented software testing using domain ontologies ensures reliability and quality across the software lifecycle. For enterprises, knowledge-driven analytics, smart decision systems, and customer experience modeling are transforming management strategies through data-centric insights. Furthermore, knowledge-driven robotics and autonomous systems, empowered by edge and cloud knowledge management, contribute to scalable and adaptive industrial ecosystems. Finally, sustainable knowledge engineering plays a vital role in advancing smart cities and e-governance, ensuring ethical, explainable, and responsible AI integration.
