The 6th Kotor International Maritime Conference (KIMC 2026) is scheduled to take place on 26–28 November 2026 in Kotor, Montenegro, with 26 and 27 dedicated to the thematic sessions at the Conference venue, and 28 for the promotion of projects. 

The primary objective of KIMC is to provide a high-quality academic platform for scholars and maritime professionals to present and share their latest research findings, as well as to discuss emerging trends in maritime sciences and the shipping industry. The Conference also serves as an important forum for researchers, educators, engineers, practitioners, and maritime professionals to exchange novel findings, experiences, and ideas. In addition, it features a variety of industrial and business-oriented presentations, fostering collaboration between academia and stakeholders of the Blue Economy.

Notably, the Conference also offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present their research. Guided by the belief that students should be actively involved in scientific research throughout their studies, a dedicated Student Section is provided to encourage the expression of ideas and enhance collaboration with teachers and supervisors.
