The INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF APPLIED ENGINEERING AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES (AENIT 2025) will be held on May 26, 27, and 28, 2025, at the Universidad Técnica del Norte (Ibarra, Ecuador). It was created with the objective of exchanging knowledge and technological advances between researchers from national and international universities and industry professionals. This congress is a space for high-level technical and scientific dialogue and debate on research results in the areas of Production and Innovation, Electrical Grids, Communications Networks, Intelligence and Management, Information Systems, Security and Privacy, Software Technologies, Technological Trends, among others.

The AENIT 2025 Congress will focus on "Sustainable Energy Solutions." This is happening in a global context that demands innovative solutions to the challenges of climate change and growing energy demand. The conference will focus on engineering topics related to the programs offered by the Faculty of Engineering in Applied Sciences (FICA).

The research papers presented at the conference will be published in a book of proceedings, and the selected articles will be submitted to a scientific journal indexed in Scopus, so that the research results can be made known to the international scientific community.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Submission for Presentations

The summaries will be presented by the EasyChair platform, they will have a review process by the scientific committee. Abstracts will be received in English and Spanish. 

Once approved, the submission of presentations and final summaries will be requested prior to the start of the event, according to the event schedule.  

The book of memories of the congress will be made with the summaries presented by the keynote speakers and the speakers; the same one that will be endorsed by the UTN publishing house. 

The value and payment of the abstracts accepted for presentation will be made to the UEMPRENDE account through its payment platform. 

• Submission for article publication

Interested authors may publish the full articles of their respective presentation in English or Spanish, and attach the article to the same EasyChair record used to upload the summary of the presentation. The articles will be evaluated with the double-blind pair system; Once approved by the organizing committee, it will be sent to the respective journal, who will carry out a second review prior to approval and publication of the article, the works that will be published in:

Full-length publication in the Journal Data and Metadata ( Q3 SCOPUS ) for data science, data-based decision making, methodologies and techniques for data management and analysis, metadata and its management, biological data, bibliometrics and analysis of scientific and academic production.
